“What non musical things do you talk toRadiohead's Thom Yorke about?
Whenever we're around it's real, as you guys say, "blokey". We talk about girls a lot, as well as lifestyle things and our headspaces. I always run to him when I think, "I don't know what to do! I hate myself! How do you keep going on?" [adopts laid back Thom Yorke tone] "Take a vacation man - go to this place!" Whenever I leave the conversation, I go home and then I'll hear some Radiohead and [think] "Damn, I should have asked him how they did this and what that meant!”
“Describe seeing Radiohead live for the first time?
It was my birthday in Japan and it was just awesome. We met the band that night too but that first meeting was hella-f***ed up dude. My girlfriend at the time ate some weed edibles - we all did - but she had a really bad reaction. We went down to the holding area for the meet and greet and she had an episode. She had to run to the bathroom and was really crazy and panicking. I had to run to the band and say, "Hey, we should do something together" and then run back and be like "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? DON'T DO THIS NOW!' That was a real bad one, man.”
